Jump in and get your feet wet, please

Yesterday at the ole job place a family came in who's child I had been photographing since he was 3 months old. Now he is 15 months with a younger brother. Adorable. The two of them are such wonderful children. They have amazing parents. (oh, and a really cool grandmom, hello? could it get any better?) I find it really incredible that sometimes the same people just come in constantly and I get to see their children grow. Now I don't see them every day, so the change is HUGE to me. There is one family who's son I have photographed since he was 1 month old.... they came in every month til he was 1 yr(I was not there, but I wish I had been to see how big he has gotten...) It's a great thing, even if you are only the photographer, and this is just another family. Some people you can just instantly connect with and enjoy their company(love those types). It was great to see that family yesterday and see how their oldest has grown up so big and now this tiny lil' one has joined the bunch. They are truly an awesome family.
Children's photography is a great thing and I love it, but it can be extremely difficult. There are times where I go to work with very little energy and taking photos will only take what little is left of me. Sucks. But I looooovvveeee kids. I've met some really funny children with the greatest personalities. I hope that children's photography will be apart of my life when I am older, because I do enjoy it. Kids are wonderful. Its hard on a photography when the parent gets flustered because the child is upset. As long as everyone relaxes, we can all get through it together.
I can't believe school starts in four days!!!! Ah!!!!!
