Olympic Star

I was trying to get a photo from the Equestrian competition, but NBC is too clever for me and has made it difficult to post a photo. I think that's very selfish.
Oh well, I've been getting up early to watch the Dressage and Jumping competitions. Now, you have to understand when I was younger I was obsessed with horses(ok, so I still am...but...) I wrote a ton of essays on dressage, on being a large animal vet, on owning a horse. I had a horse book that I read 50 times.... I know a good deal about horses. This has actually come in handy since I have become great friends with someone who's family owns a horse farm and has her own horses and is a jumper. SO! When she talks about tack, shoes, and what not, I know what she is refering to.
I wish I could do that for other conversations with people. "So, so and so, and so and so, it's really cool, blah blah blah..." My response would be "Oh! Yea I sooooo know about so and so!"
Definitely does not happen like that.
I am going to be really busy the next couple of days so don't be surprised if there is dead silence on this side of the blog.
Hm.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the Conshohocken fire in PA.... that is so horrible...
