Floral Fans Fluttering

Tomorrow at 9 AM I have a big crit on my senior thesis pieces. I'm sort of excited because it will be the first real critique I've had so far semester. The funny thing is I haven't given my teacher my Thesis Statement yet. Oh well...at some point I'll sit down and think it through. I mean, I know why I am doing it, I just need to lay it out on paper for others to read.
My Hahnemule paper is working out just dandy, but it might be a little too creamy for my taste. I'm just not a cream kinda girl. I'm more of an ivory kinda girl or glossy. Ooo, glossy is even better. Today during my ever so fun digital class we had a visit from ColorMunki! Don't get too excited, it's not actually a monkey and even though it was informative, I'd rather have been informed in a cooler room, not a computer lab trying to be a sauna. Especially since I don't feel well, heat only makes matters worse.
Would you like to know what colormunki is?? Well, I don't feel like writing it out... It looks like your friendly tape measurer but more technological and more for measuring colors.
I failed my Personal Essay(surprise!!!) Some day I will get it right. I don't know when and I defintely don't know how, but I'll get it, I swear. Now our new assignment is writing about someone else. COOL! The boyfriend has had a great life, maybe he will let me write about him. Otherwise, if anyone wants to tell me their life story the only requirement is to be interesting and fun to write about. That's not asking much.
I'm almost done reading "Iran Awakening" by Shirin Ebadi. I highly reccomend. Along with all the books I have read so far for Middle Eastern Art, this book is such an eye opener and full of information I never knew(some because I wasn't born yet or I was just too young to have understood) It really is fascinating stuff. Where's the Japanese and Chinese culture class??? I need to take that next.
I have to begin making my postcard for Digital Class. I'm super excited to make 300 postcards About, maybe 30 of them will be given out to friends and family and the rest I get stuck with. great.... I have to shell out 75.00 dollars I don't have for a bunch of postcards. I guess if I choose my photograph wisely enough I can use it as a business card, but the photo I want to use(which I can't post because it is still in negative form, not scaned yet) might not be my favorite in about 15 years. Hm. Opinions on the result would be greatly appreciated.
