I've been thinking about this alot lately. There are a couple of cultures that I wish I had a better understanding of...
*Japanese(duh...hello, I was a Harajuku Girl/Gangura for Halloween!)
*Chinese
*Korean
*Indian
*Middle Eastern(all kinds, Moroccan, Iranian, etc.)
I wish I knew a ton more about these cultures. I'd rather go there and have the experience hands on, but who knows if that is ever possible. I just keep dreamin'.
My Halloween was fair. I worked during the day, photographing cute lil' kiddies in their cute kiddie costumes. Aw. So while all you sports lovers were out rioting and drinking yourself stupid, I was inside. With little kids. Need I say more? Then went to a party, discovered that I am suddenly a one glass of wine drunk(normally it's two, so this is quite surprising...) I also learned that I am not as creative with my costume ideas as I should be. One girl was a Zombie Alice In Wonderland, ripped up pieces, lots of blood, our mutual friend made her look all decripeed and Zombie like with this blue-black make up, loved it. Another girl was a damsel in distress and tied herself up. Shoot... I want to be something cool next year....I thought my Harajuku costume was kick ass, but I guess not that kick ass.
Today is the first Sunday I won't be photographing anything. I have an abundance of photographs to work with(see post below about TTD) so I really shouldn't need to photograph again for the rest of the semester. HAHA, that's funny....Like that would ever happen.
My mommy's birthday is tomorrow. I was born a week before my mother's birthday, so I tell her every year that I was an early birthday present. Hehehe....I am sure she appreciates that.
To finish this all up because I really don't have much else to write about(or don't really feel like writing about.) I added a ton new songs to my Music for The Soul section of my Blog, so if you're curious, take a look.
Until next time.
