In the darkest of knights....

Last night I saw the Batman movie, The Dark Knight. I've always had a soft spot for Batman movies, cartoons, comics, etc.... Love them. Batman can save me any day.
It was a fantastic movie. The cinematography was out of this world. Strategic cuts, beautifully lit scenes, great angles, yum. It was awesome.
It broke my heart though to watch the masterful Heath Ledger play a role with such intensity and not be alive to enjoy the success of it all. 300 million dollars in 10 days, holy cow. I am saddened to believe he is gone. I may not have known Heath ledger, but I have seen a large amount of his movies, and I discovered this incredibly actors years ago in Ten Things I Hate About You, totally fell in love with his sexiness. When I saw that movie I didn't know if he'd be around later, but then I saw a Knight's Tale, Brokeback Moutain, and many other Ledger films. He is incredible. I hope that Heath Ledger is never ever forgotten. I hope he is always given the greatest respect.
