Summer days wasted away

Yesterday was a long work day. A crazy abnormal work day. After a few calls to people, one successful encounter, one not so successful encounter, I was almost done and out the door. But you know what sucks? When people come in there and think you are as dumb as a stone.... and its pretty obvious when they think I have no smarts.
People, I go to college... I work hard, granted it is only art school, but parts of it are still challenging. Last semester I worked so hard. Sometimes it was excruciatingly painful. But no, I am not dumb, it is you who are not listening to me when I explain clearly all the details. Don't laugh at me when I walk away because you think I am a moron for not knowing such and such or you think you know more than me. Honestly, I'd love to see you take a shot at my job. Be my guest. Don't come back when you go running and screaming through the door.

Hung out last night at a kick the keg party, but departed early due to having to be up for work at 730... oh well. It's Saturday, tomorrow is sunday, tonight is a party night! Tomorrow is a day of sleep and no cell phone alarms. Yay! Next week we are off to New York for a day 1/2 trip. I look foward to the night life. I've never really experienced it, so here we come!
