Wine Glass Numero Dos

My mom came over to hang out today. We were both feeling glum. I don't know why or how it is that the two of us(even though we dont live together anymore) still manage to be on the same page. I think she mentioned something about my grandmother(her mother) having died today. Shit, I think I was 10 when she passed away... that's a long time ago. We sat drinking caffeinated beverages and my mom began to cry. The reminder of all that went down during that time probably still strickens my mothers throat and causes grief. As much as I hate to think about it, I am sure I will cry just like my mom when I think of her passing(although I'd rather like to think it won't be any time soon, I love my mommy.) All and all the sad emotional day can't not be cured by glasses of wine and love... I am sure it will just pass.
My mom and I split a wonderful piece of comfort food to try and soothe our sorrows, but still I prefer alcohol(no I am not an alcoholic, I don't drink all week and if I do, its half a glass of wine... thank you very much.)
Anyway.... after many discussions of pets, loved ones, and stupid celebs, she left and I took a CD of photos to an acquaintance of mine. I recently photographed her and her beautiful daughter. Just the starts of my own business steming from various photoshoots. From TTD, to friend and horse, now mother and daughter, next it is actual mini-wedding... I am super excited. C and R are awesome people. I met C at TTD and she is extremely humorous. While out with mom today I ran into another TTD girl who I had no idea how to contact... funny how the world works! I got her number and will be sending photos of her via email soon. I really enjoyed the girls at TTD, they were all wonderful. Just like the photogs I met. Great people.
Wedding photog that I assist for ONE, asked me to help her out sometime soon. I am thrilled! They don't know how excited I get when they ask for my help. It's unbelievable amounts of appreciation and gratitude for taking me under their wing and offering me such a marvelous opportunity. They are so talented and I only hope I can be just like them when I grow up. Being able to assist WedOne and WedTwo, is a wonderful piece of my life and totally helps.
