Groggy Start

Here stands an eggplant from my love and I's garden. It's so cute, right? It reminds me of a bomb from like an old school video game. My love made me an entire vegetable meal last night consisting of only veggies from our garden. I was so excited! They tasted awesome. Nothing like having fresh vegetables right on your plate. Mmmm.
Last night I was pretty tired from the weekend(not complaining, it was all worth it!) so my entry was short and sweet. It probably sounded wacky because i was so tired but i tried.
I had an awesome time being a wedding assistant this past weekend. I learned a whole lot and it was an amazing experience so I am very gracious and thankful to the wedding photog I worked with for being absolutely so kind for inviting me along. (You rock!)
This weekend my love's sister is coming to town, I hope to get in some great photo shoots with her. She is covered in tattoos and super cool. We will be in philly so, hopefully we can run around photographing. I also want to photograph the family (my love, sister, and hopefully mom). Then I will have some stuff to post.
I have three more weeks left of summer. :(
It's my senior year! I gotta pull out all the stops to make this a fantastic year with beautiful photos! This fall will be 18 credits. Crazy! I am sure I can do it. Just got to be well organized and determined(eep!)
My computer keeps insisting I am running out of hard drive space, so now I have to think of buying an external hard drive. Granted I work on MAC laptop(must think of investing in MAC PC at some point... no, don't want to think of that yet....) but I really need to consider the external, to help with the abundance of digital photos I will be placing on it within the next year. Between digital photos from digital class and being an assistant, as well as what ever else may come this year, I need the space. What to do, what to do.
I want to start thinking about purchasing a new flash. The flash that I have is kinda convenient but not the greatest. It's a Sigma, that ranges from 24mm-105mm. It's definitely not wonderful. But it can get the job done! I just want a prettier one. Come the fall once I am back to school I will have access to profoto kits, but it sucks lugging them around. I love soft boxes though.
