Senior Project Decision 2008

I had this awesome idea for my senior thesis project today. I finally had my Workshop class and sitting there I was wondering what I could possibly do that would leave a remaining mark resembling my name at school. I know I said I wanted to do something relating to TTD and I still do, but I had another idea connected to that. It might be more complicated than this tiny person can handle, but it is worth a shot. I just need to discuss it with my teachers first. They may think it's really complicated and unnecessary.
I must be feeling tense from school because my throat is tight and driving me crazy! Every time I come home from school I just get into doing my homework. So from one thing I jump right into the other. The only reason I am updating my blog is because I am procrastinating. I need to write a draft fro my Media class. Bleh. I also need to begin entries on my Evolution journal. Any interesting scientific articles out there?? I should just watch the discovery channel and write about that.
Which brings me to the next thing I wanted to say! I saw a beautiful photography exhibition today by this guy...
Southwest Alaska: A World of Parks and Wildlife Refuges at the Crossroads:
The Photographs of Robert Glenn Ketchum
What an interesting man, but a little strange. That does not bother me, you gotta be strange to be an artist. He has some great aerial views of Alaska. They were these GIANT prints from medium format color printed on Fuji paper. He explained the tundras of Alaska and the wild salmon populations as well as the large popularity of herring in Tokyo.(mmmm, japan, I wish I was there....) He was a bit too forward about the election, but everyone has a right to their opinion. His show is exhibited in this large old building with great lighting. I've noticed over the years of going to exhibitions that lighting sometimes can be really harsh and make you anxious to leave the place, but this wasn't the case. I really enjoyed looking at his nature shots. He originally ran around with The Doors and Cream(lucky man!!) and photographed rock bands when he was younger. Now he spends his days photographing wildlife in Alaska. Check it out!
